As part of our business development plan, Amakbooks is seeking to hire a Japanese Editor.
Job Description:
- Cross-check translations with the original text, ensuring accuracy, fluency, and natural Vietnamese expression.
- Proofread, edit, and finalize drafts for printing and publication.
- Evaluate the quality of manuscripts/translations.
- Write introductions, press releases, and participate in promoting upcoming works.
Job Requirements:
- University degree, with preference for majors in Foreign Languages, Literature, Linguistics, or Journalism.
- Proficiency at N2 level or higher in Japanese (especially reading and writing) for translation and cross-checking.
- Strong grasp of Vietnamese grammar and spelling.
- Desire for long-term commitment to editorial and publishing work.
- Attention to detail, meticulousness, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
