Little Mushroom is a romantic fable - a tragic yet beautiful symphony of love and faith.
When the magnetic field surrounding Earth vanished, the world teetered on the brink of collapse. Humanity struggled against gene pollution, mutated creatures, and the relentless search for hope to save the planet.
An Zhe was once just a tiny mushroom sprouting in the stormy wilderness. After an accident that “broke his stem,” the little mushroom suddenly developed thoughts - and became aware that he was alive. Like all little mushrooms, An Zhe believed that nurturing his spore was his life’s purpose. Yet in a moment of playful curiosity, he accidentally lost that precious spore to humans. Later, in order to retrieve it, he assumed the identity of a dead man and infiltrated a human base.
There, An Zhe encountered Judge Lu Feng - the authoritarian Adjudicator who would not hesitate to shoot any aberrant species to protect humankind. And yet, for some inexplicable reason, he hesitated when faced with An Zhe. For the first time ever, Lu Feng ignored his instincts and ordered a gene test instead of pulling the trigger.
As an aberrant species, An Zhe simply wanted to stay as far away from this man as possible. Meanwhile, Lu Feng - who placed humanity’s interests above all else - remained painfully aware that An Zhe was full of suspicious secrets.
One side afraid and trying to flee; the other cautious and quietly observant - somewhere between them, something began to take root…
