"Chiisana Hana, Koi Tsunagu" tells the story of Minori, a student always described by friends as a bright person with a radiant smile, who goes to the convenience store near the school every day to hunt for a special toy for his sister Wakana.

Meanwhile, Tatsuya, an advanced student working part-time at the convenience store, notices this scene and, for some reason, brings the toy to Minori.

Minori wants Tatsuya to give it directly to his sister, so after school, he takes him to meet Wakana. Though cold and not good at talking, Tatsuya is actually very gentle at heart, making Wakana almost immediately fond of this "friend" of her brother.
